What is Salve?

Salve started as a weekly newsletter of snarky commentary for the cynical pop culture enthusiast. During quarantine, it has evolved as a weekly column of voice-y musings from a budding memoirist.

Written from Singapore, Salve is a message in a bottle—chucked out into the vast ocean of the world wide web, in search of connection. To date, it has explored: remote grief during a pandemic, FaceTune addiction, and an isolation fuelled melt-down.

There’s a podcast element, guest spots from other emerging voices, and an advice column. Salve brings a pocket of light to your inbox and a curated list of zany things to read, watch, and listen to.
